Ann was born and brought up in Saddleworth in the North of England. From an early age she had a passion for wildlife and nature and could always be found sketching animals. She trained as a nurse and followed that career for many years, only starting to paint in 1996. Ann has lived and worked in the Bournemouth area for several years. She exhibits with Local and National art societies and has won several awards for her work. The latest being “The Overall Amateur Wildlife Artist Of The Year presented by Wildscape for her painting “Tiger Crossing”. Ann was also delighted and honoured when asked if the painting could be used for the Special Guest invite for Marwell International Wildlife Art Society Private Viewing 2006
