Lionel Foreman

A chemist by training, Lionel spent his working life putting the colour into television tubes for the largest manufacturer of televisions in the world. As a result there is not much he does not know about colour theory!

He is now very happy to try and put this theory into practice with his watercolour landscapes. Lionel was introduced to watercolour by one of his colleagues, Bill Hindmarch, who is now a fulltime artist in the North East of England.

Lionel has sturdied with two other artists, Don Harrison in Dorset, and Sue Lewington on the Isles of Scilly, both of which he greatly admires. Presently Lionel is busy with a pictorial essay of the Dorset Stour.

His paintings are in private collections in both England and on the Continent.
