Demo/Workshop: Redactive Drawing in Charcoal

Jen began with a quick demonstration of the technique:

  • Cover the paper with charcoal scribble

  • Rub it in

  • Erase the highlights with a putty rubber

  • Darken the shadows

Members dispersed to draw a collection of jugs, fruit and flowers.

It was a delightful evening: drawing and chatting in the best company.
