There’s lots of interest in around the church (plenty of bluebells there and a 1000 year old yew tree, also oldest church in the forest with New Zealand war graves from WW1) but also access to a wood with bluebells.
Directions: Go across the level crossing towards Lymington and take the second left up to the Church, plenty of parking in front of the church. Google gives the postcode as SO42 7UD.
To access the wood, çontinue till you see footpath on left with parking space for a few cars, (opposite a building site) take the footpath across the field to the wood - and the bluebells.
Keep an eye out for more information and directions on the Plein Air Group of the RAS facebook site.
