Art at the Alice Lisle (2)

Gedz, the new manager at the Alice Lisle has offered to display art by members of the Ringwood Art Society in the cafe area of the inn..

A number of members have taken up the offer to display up to four small or medium sized paintings. A rota has been set up giving each member a space for 4 months during which paintings can be swapped by the artist. Any sales must be arranged via RAS or the individual artist.

Members who would like to join the rota should contact Jen. Works must be presented, framed to exhibition standard, with D rings for hanging. Labels should detail the title, medium, artist and, if for sale, the price. The Alice Lisle reserves the right to reject items not suitable for the family setting.

RAS provided a hanging system for maximum flexibility and the first group is on display until February. It looks very good indeed.

We are very grateful to the Alice Lisle for providing this opportunity to display our work.

We are even more grateful for the 15% discount they have offered to members. Do remember to bring your membership card if you visit!
